Let us introduce Mark Nowell:
A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Mark Nowell graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in Business Administration. During his time at UGA, Mark used the same determination that proved so rewarding in the classroom into his extracurriculars. He was a scholarship member of the NCAA Division I men’s swim team, on the Dean’s List and Director of Athletic’s Honor-Roll as well as being a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon National Management Honor Fraternity.
After graduation from the University of Georgia, Mr. Nowell attended the Charlotte School of law before transferring to the University of South Carolina School of Law. During his time at the University South Carolina School of Law, he served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Henry F. Floyd, federal judge. Before his graduation in 2011, he received awards for real estate transactions and legal writing as well as making the Dean’s List.
After law school, Mark served as a law clerk for the Honorable Roger L. Couch of the South Carolina Circuit Court and moved to Spartanburg. Then he practiced criminal defense, personal injury, business litigation, probate and real estate litigation at the Firm Henderson, Brandt & Vieth, P.A.
In June of 2014 Mark became a partner at Anderson, Moore, Bailey & Nowell, LLC. He is licensed to practice in all SC courts, both federal and state.
During his down time, Mark enjoys golf, skiing, and traveling. He and his wife Maggie call Spartanburg home, so he’s dedicated to helping the people in his community get the legal services they need from a firm they can trust.
