Let us introduce Travis Moore:
Travis A. Moore grew up in Roebuck, SC and graduated from Dorman High School in 1998. He then moved to Charleston to attend The Citadel. While a cadet, Travis held several leadership positions within the Corps of Cadet and earned honors on the Dean’s List, President’s List, Gold Stars, and served on the honor court. In 2002 Travis graduated from The Citadel’s Honors Program with a BA in History.
Following his graduation, Travis was commissioned as an Infantry officer in the United States Army. He’s served continuously since with the South Carolina Army National Guard. He served as an Infantry officer in Kosovo from 2004 to 2005 and went on to serve in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2007 to 2008.
While serving, he was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge. Between his deployments, Travis attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 2008.
After law school, Travis moved to Spartanburg and served as an Assistant Solicitor in the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office under Solicitor Trey Gowdy and later Solicitor Barry Barnette. During this time he was awarded the C. Bruce Littlejohn Young Attorney Award in 2010.
Travis entered private practice in 2011 and is a founding partner of Anderson, Moore, Bailey & Moore. He is an active member of the Spartanburg community, serving on the board of Christmas in Action – Spartanburg. He is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
He lives in Spartanburg with his wife Jenny and their two beautiful children. The family attends The Episcopal Church of The Advent.
